• Work closely with onshore analyst based out of Hong Kong
• Create, maintain and update models on a regular basis with guidance from onshore counterparts
• Conduct fundamental and financial analysis on industry and individual companies
• Make meaningful contributions to research reports with guidance from onshore counterparts
• Maintain and update various databases
• Track and analyse regulatory changes and their impact on our coverage
• Keeps the global team appraised of new developments by monitoring news and events
• Work on various client requests independently and in a timely and accurate manner
• Work on global products, when required
• Respond quickly, efficiently and accurately to ad-hoc requests
1. Knowledge and understanding of various valuation methodologies and metrics as well as financial modelling skills would be expected
2. Post Graduate Finance / MBA or equivalent from a reputed university
3. Minimum 1-2 years in a related field within Financial Services
4. Understanding of financial markets and various asset classes is a must
5. Knowledge of financial databases such as Bloomberg, WIND and/or Reuters (good to have)
6. Proficient in written and spoken English and Mandarin/Cantonese
7. Good written and oral/presentation skills
8. Proficient with MS office
9. Organized; diligent; ability to put extra efforts when required
10. Candidates who are CFA Charter holders or pursuing CFA will be preferred
