特许金融分析师CFA一级必背高频考点：Bond Covenants
在固定收益中，有一对概念经常考到，就是affirmative covenants和negative covenants。CFA一级考试中经常会给出一个covenant的描述，让考生判断这个描述属于affirmative covenants还是negative covenants。下面小编就带大家来辨析一下。

【高频考点】Bond Covenants
Covenants are clauses that specify the rights of the bondholders and any actions that the issuer is obligated to perform or prohibited from performing. 简单来说，covenants是限制bond issuer行为以保证债权人利益的条款，affirmative covenants就是bond issuer能干什么，negative covenants就是bond issuer不能干什么。
Affirmative covenants的描述一般都是正面的。例如：
l make the contractual payments
l comply with all laws and regulations
l maintain current lines of business
l insure and maintain its assets
l pay taxes as they come due
Negative covenants的描述一般都是负面的。例如：
l Restrictions on debt
l Negative pledges
l Restrictions on prior claims
l Restrictions on distributions to shareholders
l Restrictions on asset disposals
l Restrictions on investments
l Restrictions on mergers and acquisitions
